Hilton's Fishing Charts and Fugawi X-Traverse have partnered to provide a fish-forecasting  service downloadable to an   iPhone, PC or Mac. Hilton's operates the online map server at www.realtime-navigator.com, which provides sea-surface-temperature, water-color, upwelling and surface-current information. X-Traverse is a Web application that allows users of mobile software to exchange data with PC- or Mac-based software. With the new fish-forecasting service, anglers can access Hilton's imagery via their iPhones anywhere they receive a cell signal and keep the unit with them offshore. The iPhone contains a true satellite GPS, so it will navigate outside cell range. To run the service on an iPhone, anglers need iNavX software, available from iTunes for $49. X-Traverse costs $99/year; Hilton's services start at $200/year. Call Hilton's at 713-530-2267, or visit www.realtime-navigator.com. Call Fugawi X-Traverse at 416-920-9300, or visit www.x-traverse.com or www.fugawi.com.
