The new Furuno MU150HD and MU190HD flat-screen monitors give anglers a full 15 or 19 inches of display space for sonar, radar or plotter black-box feeds. Both use 1,000-candela LED backlit color TFT LCDs that feature anti-reflective glass filters. The LCD physically bonds to the glass lens surface for fog-free ­operation. The MU150HD ($6,495) is a 15-inch diagonal XGA (1,024-by-768-pixel) display; the MU190HD ($7,495) is a 19-inch diagonal SXGA (1,290-by-1,024 pixel) unit. Both can display images from black-box electronics - including NavNet 3-D - security cameras, DVD players, computers and other peripherals in full screen or picture-in-picture.
