DeepSea 12 LED On-Hull SeaLite

Twelve bright LEDs, each with its own reflector, help ensure maximum light penetration and last up to 50,000 hours.

Mounting an underwater light through the hull often means cutting a fairly large hole in precious fiberglass. But DeepSea Power & Light's new 12 LED On-Hull SeaLite requires only a small hole the size of a cable, and, the company says, it doesn't sacrifice brightness or reliability. The cable feeds through the hole, and the flat, circular light head screws into the hull surface from outside. Twelve bright LEDs, each with its own reflector, help ensure maximum light penetration and last up to 50,000 hours. DeepSea also incorporated a built-in strobe and dimming circuit. Light colors include white, blue or green; beam angle is 30 degrees. The new SeaLite costs $850. Call 858-576-1261, or visit www.deepsee.com.
