Those of us who have dropped cell phones in the drink or have tried  holding a cell conversation amid wind and engine noise fully understand why Cobra made the MR F300 BT waterproof handset with Bluetooth wireless tech-nology. The Cobra handset pairs up with a Bluetooth-capable mobile phone in the same way that phone would connect with a headset. Calls may be heard through the unit's speaker or through a stereo speaker via aux input. The MR F300 BT features a noise- canceling microphone and meets the JIS7 (Japan Industrial Standards rank of 7) rating by withstanding full submersion in three feet of water for a half-hour.
