Branching away from its traditional line of wooden plugs, The Lonely Angler has introduced three new holographic topwater lures. The Mega Eye (1 1/2 ounces, through-wired) and Mini Mega Eye (3/4 ounces) poppers and the Spook (1 ounce, through-wired) are made from resin and feature laser-engraved finishes. The company customizes each with VMC Permasteel hooks and stainless-steel split rings. Cast these rattling plugs to anything prone to feed on top, such as bluefish, striped bass, Spanish mackerel and bonito. Colors include red head, glow, eel, lightning/chartreuse, green mackerel, bunker, mahi and baitfish. The two larger plugs cost $11; the Mini Mega Eye costs $9.
