Four new Ugly Stik Tiger Lite jigging rods expand this Shakespeare line to give saltwater anglers options for heavier-duty action. The two new casting models include a 5-foot-10-inch, 80- to 130-pound-class rod and a 6-foot-3-inch, 50- to 100-pound rod. Two new spinners measure 6 feet and 6 feet, 6 inches for 80- to 130-pound and 50- to 100-pound line. Shakespeare designed these rods for jigging and bottomfishing for species such as snapper, grouper and tuna. Tiger Lites are constructed using the Howald Process Triple Built blank design with added graphite. They feature Fuji DF aluminum-oxide guides with black stainless-steel frames, Fuji reel seats and contoured EVA foregrips. The rods cost $69.95.
