Troll Your Mojo

New, realistic looking artificial lures.
125-Troll your mojo 03

The folks at Tactical Tackle asked themselves the age-oldquestion: Why don't lures look more like real fish? In the absenceof a reasonable answer, they set out to make the Dancin' Dolphinand the Mojo Mullet, two soft-plastic lures that very much mimicthe shape, size and color of their namesakes. The 15-inch dolphin(with plastic doll eyes) runs upright just below the surface attrolling speeds up to 10 knots. A cylindrical knob at the bait'stail imparts a side-to-side kicking motion. The belly slotaccommodates J-hooks up to 16/0 and circle hooks up to 24/0 witheither single- or double-hook setups. Add the plastic Boogie BallLure Action Disk to the leader in front of the bait and create asmoke trail. The 9-inch mullet can be rigged with one or two hooksand comes in four colors: blue, green, pink and purple (all havesilver-glitter bellies). Dolphins come in three colors: pearl, green and pink (all have blue/green backs). Mullets cost $15.95each; dolphins, $49.95. Both are also sold in packs of three or adozen, or they can be purchased already rigged. Call 713-501-0904in Houston or 504-895-8780 in New Orleans, or visit www.tacticaltackle.com.
