Strike Pro America Striper Hunter

Striper Hunters feature VMC cone-cut 6x trebles, 500-pound-test through-wire harnesses and 200-pound, triple-wrapped, stainless split rings.
100-0609gr lures

Strike Pro America, makers of saltwater and freshwater hard baits, has created the Striper Hunter, a special-edition signature popper endorsed by Ron Arra, the Massachusetts surf-fishing expert and champion caster. The 5-inch, 2-ounce plugs were based on the existing Tuna Hunter Jr. series and come in four of Arra's handpicked favorite colors: purple diamond, baby-blue diamond, bronze back and dirty roach. Made of Japanese cypress wood and covered in seven layers of paint, an iridescent prism wrap and epoxy, Striper Hunters feature VMC cone-cut 6x trebles, 500-pound-test through-wire harnesses and 200-pound, triple-wrapped, stainless split rings. Strike Pro expects to release a 7-inch, 3.5-ounce version this fall. Cost is $19.99. Call 409-621-1126, or visit www.strikeproamerica.com.
