St. Croix has expanded its line of Premier Saltwater boat rods, adding pairs of 6- and 6 1/2-foot medium-heavyand heavy rods. These four rods increase the line to 20offshore-specific models with specialty tapers for saltwateranglers. Premier blanks employ a blend of graphite and wovengraphite for better hoop strength, impact resistance, durabilityand lifting power. The fast-action rods feature AFTCO roller tips and stripper guides, Fuji reel seats and Hardloy ring guides secured with double-wrapped thread and two layers of Flex Coatfinish. Medium-heavy-power rods of both lengths are rated for 20-to 40-pound test; heavy-power rods can handle 30- to 50-pound test.All Premier rods come with a two-year warranty.
