Pflueger has enhanced its President spinning reels by making them more durable, adding features and reducing the weight by as much as 10 percent. Presidents still feature a graphite body and rotor, and come with six to nine stainless-steel bearings. The drag system comprises stainless-steel and oiled-felt washers, and the gear ratio remains 5.2-to-1. The new reels come with a larger solid-aluminum bail wire and Sure-Click system; the double-anodized aluminum spool is braid ready.
