While the Mustad name may be best known for quality hooks, the company also makes a line of 27 Sportsman's Tools, from pliers, forceps and wire cutters to mechanical scales, big-game holding tools and fillet knives. Several models feature Posi-Traction grips, designed with moisture-channeling ridges to move water away from the hands; others come with Mustad's Nor-Guard black-nickel finish for corrosion resistance. The finesse 41/2-inch pliers offer a fine needle-nose tip to work with smaller inshore fish and in precision applications.
