HI-SEAS says its new thermally bonded WildFire braid combines the most desirable properties of Spectra with the easy handling of monofilament. The braid's smooth surface and unique construction extends casting distance and accepts an angler's favorite mono knots, the company says. HI-SEAS makes the braid by weaving Spectra fiber around a proprietary core material, and then it thermally bonds the fibers from the inside out.
