Short-striking fish can be the bane of an angler's existence. But with Gamakatsu's Nose Ring Treble Stinger Rig, even bait-stealing halibut find themselves stuck. Built with a 2x treble in corrosion-resistant NS black finish, the rig employs a metal nose ring (sure to make even rock stars envious) and a plastic sleeve. After placing the treble near the live bait's tail and the ring through its nose, the sleeve rides along the leader so the bait can swim freely. The rig comes with a size 4 or 6 hook on 15- or 20-pound-test leader. Retail cost is $6.79 for a pack of two rigs.
