Ande Monofilament says its new Pink Fluorocarbon provides ­excellent knot strength, strong abrasion resistance and low stretch — plus, it doesn’t absorb water. Ande says the line sinks quickly and, because fluoro doesn’t refract light the same as mono, it’s harder to see underwater. The line is offered in 20- to 60-pound-test in 50-yard skeins and 1-pound spools. Ande expects retail pricing to start at about $20, but details were not available at press time.
