Redfish-tournament anglers on the Oh Boy! Oberto Redfish Cup series told Falcon designers that they needed an ultrasensitive rod to detect strikes and to better gauge the action of their lures. And, by the way, make it ultralight, too - light enough to make hundreds of casts a day. The result: Falcon Cenderi Ti, a new series of light saltwater rods. The line includes six casting and six spinning rods featuring Fuji TiC titanium guides and SiC silicone-carbide ring inserts, Fuji ECSM reel seats, Portuguese-cork handles and a thick flex coat to protect guide wraps from UV light. The heart of the Cenderi Ti is the sensitive blank created with Falcon's 44-million-modulus graphite weave. To give anglers even more touch, the blank is exposed to the fingertips below the reel seat. The rods range in length from 61¼-  to 71¼ - feet and come in a variety of actions for 8- to 20-pound line. Cost ranges from $169.95 to $199.95.
