Cummins says its new QD 6/7.5 kW, 50/60 Hz generator delivers up to 34 percent more power than competitors, based on wattage at full load and generator volume, which equates to more power in less space. The unit is powered by a four-stroke, liquid-cooled diesel engine and YVB two-pole, belt-driven 50C alternator. The new QD 6/7.5 features onboard diagnostics and protection, acoustic housing for quiet operation and improved motor-starting ability. Options include J1939 or Smart Craft network communications. The unit weighs 429 pounds and measures 26.1 x 23 x 21 inches. It's CE listed as well as ABYC/NMMA and EPA and CARB certified.
