With five models from light to medium-heavy action, Daiwa’s new Seagate conventional reels cover numerous angling opportunities. The single-speed composite reels incorporate helical-cut brass gears, an aluminum spool, a carbon star-drag system and infinite anti-reverse. The five models — the lightest carries 12- to 20-pound-test and the heaviest, 30- to 50-pound-test — range in weight from 14.3 to 21.9 ounces and offer 15.4 to 19.8 pounds of max drag.
