Ande Braid

Ande, a producer of top monofilament products for 50 years, has introduced Ande Braid, a braided line made in America with Spectra fiber. The 15-pound-test spool we saw featured the same line diameter as 2-pound mono. Ande says the new braid is rounder than many similar lines. Coming off the spool, it features virtually no memory. Order 125-, 300- or 1,200-yard spools in line tests from 8 to 125. Colors are teal green and high-vis yellow. Spools retail for about $13 to more than $100.
