Ever wish you had a little support when fighting a tough fish on light to medium tackle? The designers at AFTCO have your back with the Maxforce II Shoulder Harness and the Spin Strap. The harness' lightweight, lycra/polyester-covered, bio-foam shoulder and back bands connect with ventilated mesh to distribute load across an angler's upper body. (AFTCO designed the harness for stand-up fights using tackle up to and including 50-pound-test.) Four points of adjustment allow easy sizing, and the brass cross-lock clips fasten quickly to any reel's harness lugs. If your reel has no lugs or if you're fighting with spinning tackle, add the Spin Strap. The foot-long piece of nylon webbing features a D-ring at each end and wraps around the rod's foregrip above the reel. Fasten the harness snaps to the D-rings.
