Sperry Top-Sider SB1070

Sperry Top-Sider partnered with its sister company, Saucony, to create the new high-performance boat shoe - the SB1070. This lace-up shoe delivers the cushioning, comfort and stability of an athletic shoe with the traction and water compatibility of a technical boat shoe - a sought-after combination aboard fishing boats. The non-marking outsole features Sperry's new Hydro-Grip rubber traction compound, plus multidirectional Wave-Siping to render traction any way you step. At the back of the midsole, Sperry placed GRID cushioning, which bends to the shape of the heel at the point of impact. That works in conjunction with the high rebound compound (HRC) in the forefoot, which follows the center of pressure beneath the toes as an angler pushes off. The SB1070, which will be available at the end of this month, comes in sizes 8 to 13 and in white/navy or tan/beige. Retail cost is $84.95. Call 617-824-6000 or visit www.sperrytopsider.com.
