Smith Optics updates a classic sunglass style with its new Riverside, featuring Techlite glass-lens technology. Techlite boasts durability, scratch resistance and ultralight weight in an optical-quality glass lens material. Smith tapers the glass from the center to the edges, which the company says ensures clarity. Riverside's TR90 spring-hinge frames may also be fitted with Smith's Polarchromic lenses, which combine polarization with tint-changing photochromic technology. Riversides are recommended for those with medium to large faces. Choose black frames with Polarchromic copper-mirror lenses     or brown frames with Polarchromic amber for $179; or pick tortoise frames with polarized green-mirror lenses, black   with polarized blue-mirror lenses, black with polarized gray lenses or tortoise with polarized brown lenses for $159. Call 800-635-4401, or visit www.smithoptics.com.
