Costa Del Mar named its new Bomba sunglasses after a region on the Belizean island of Ambergris Caye. Like the island - a Caribbean hot spot for flats fishing - Costa says Bomba is built for adventure. The large nylon frame features tough co-molded injection technology, integral hinges and built-in temple lenses that enhance peripheral vision. The frame interior comes with a no-slip Hydrolite lining, which keeps the glasses comfortably in place all day. Bombas are available in tortoise or black frame colors with Costa's 580 glass lenses in gray or copper or in blue-, green- or silver-mirror versions, or with lightweight, scratch-resistant gray, copper or amber polycarbonate lenses. Bombas cost $149 to $249; a portion of Bomba sales will go to fund the Bonefish Tarpon Trust permit-tagging program (see Sportfishing News, p. 22). Call 800-447-3700, or visit www.costadelmar.com.
