After Costa debuted its premium 580 lens, anglers asked for blue- and green-mirrored options, but the company couldn't effectively embed mirrors between the glass layers. Costa has now delivered - and at a 20 to 30 percent price reduction.

The mirrored 580s offer 100 percent polarization and UV protection, improve vision by blocking yellow light, provide greater color discrimination and reduce glare. The lens technology actually improves visual acuity by allowing the eye to take in more of the light that enhances vision. Most of Costa's popular performance frames can be fitted with 580 lenses. Retail cost for the 580 mirrored lenses ranges from $209 to $269.
