Costa Del Mar gave the name Ballast to its first three-piece, rimless sunglass design - a name apt to suggest balanced performance. The shiny black Grilamid TR 90 frames offer extreme flexibility, and the Grey WAVE 400 polycarbonate lenses provide light, superpolarized protection. A pair of Ballast sunglasses weighs just 15 grams. Costa has also introduced a second pair of three-piece rimless glasses called the Filament. These specs come in a crystal tortoise Grilamid frame and Amber WAVE 400 lenses, often preferred by inshore anglers. A pair of Filaments weighs 14 grams. The retail price for each pair is $139.
