FIRST PLACE, JULY Photographer: Stephan Doombaj “We expected some quite big fish and that’s why I brought the underwater equipment along because I am a firm believer that taking the picture either in the water or entirely underwater helps a lot in the release these magnificent fishes without any serious harm. The fish shown on the picture had just been released…as it passed by I got it in focus.”

FIRST PLACE,**** AUGUST Photographer:__ Stephan Dombaj “That image was taken on a beach on Virgin Gorda. I was supposed to follow one of our team members to collect some underwater shots. A lot of wind crossed our plans so I took a break wading for sharks and a covered bay turned out to be a paradise for small blacktips and lemonsharks. After my fifth shark in a row I got connected to a well fed blacktip and I tried to capture the scene with the underwater housing.”
