Developers may soon resurrect the once-bustling marina and resort at Walker's Cay in the northern Bahamas. The island closed in 2004 after back-to-back hurricanes.
In early August, a commercial real-estate firm announced that the Bahamas government has endorsed the Oct. 26 purchase and redevelopment of the island by Victoria House, IBC, a Turks and Caicos company. For more information, visit www.alphacre.com.
