This is an anchor chain marker that lasts.
After-dark anglers rely on red lights to illuminate the action while still preserving night vision. I tried dipping light bulbs in a special red coating as well as painting the stuff on fluorescent tubes to use on my boat, but the red color didn't last very long. I finally found a solution by stretching red "tail-light" tape over the cabin lights and flashlight lens. Available in auto parts stores for under $2 per roll, this tape is a lot less expensive than installing dual-color fixtures or buying replaceable red filters for all the lights on the boat.Steve HicksTyler, Texas
