Tortuga 34 Express Cuddy
While this boat may look different than what you are used to, it offers both function and form for serious fishing and thereby deserves your attention.
Jun 22, 2009

From the design boards of C. Raymond Hunt, this fiberglass and composite hull provides a very sea-kindly ride even in  extreme conditions.

Anglers may find this deck layout dramatically different from what they are used to. The Tortuga's dual-console configuration provides a huge amount of deck and usable storage space down the centerline — the deepest part of the hull.

Anglers will surely also appreciate the ability to move from stern to stem without needing to step up to the forward section.

The Tortuga 34 comfortably seats 10 adults in shaded comfort thanks to the custom hardtop. The cuddy cabin forward features three huge storage compartments, a fixed, porcelain marine head and a large, cushioned V-berth platform that easily sleeps two adults or  four children. If entertaining belowdecks becomes necessary,  the expansive bench seats measure more than six feet long and can  perform double duty as berths on cool nights. Storage and refrigerator/freezer drawers readily fit beneath the benches.

As you can see, the Tortuga 34 also qualifies as a hard-core fishing machine. Witness the 160-cubic-foot cockpit, again the single-level deck, a 95-gallon transom livewell and a 138-gallon insulated fish box that lets you ice down even the biggest yellowfin tuna.

Choose between twin or triple outboards or single or twin diesels. So while this boat may look different than what you are used to, it offers both function and form for serious fishing and thereby deserves your attention.
