Concept 44 Sport Yacht
Concept qualifies as a semicustom builder, so you can spec-out a boat exactly the way you want.

Developed by founder Luis Avila and designed by naval architect John Cosker, the Concept 44's raison d'être is to transport families offshore with speed, comfort, style and elegance. The sport yacht accomplishes that superbly.

The boat also boasts some serious fishing amenities; however, Concept expects some hard-core anglers may want minor changes made to accommodate their passion more fully. The company has a dedicated fishing version under construction. On either model, you'll find two enormous insulated fish boxes, a 50-gallon livewell in the transom, full coaming pads, all pop-up cleats, LED cockpit lights,  a removable transom seat and plenty of rod holders. The fishing version will also be available in an open version.

The sport-yacht model provides stylish accommodations belowdecks with a clean but luxurious ambience: Corian counters, cherry cabinetry, a stove, an under-counter refrigerator and a head also with Corian counters and wood trim.

Thanks to the twin-step ventilated hull design, its deep, 24-degree deadrise and the ability to carry up to four 350 hp outboards on the transom, this 44 can reach speeds well in excess of 65 mph. But perhaps more impressive is the ability to cruise along at 50 mph in four- and five-foot seas with comfort and ease while attaining fuel efficiencies on the order of 1.3 mpg with triple engines.

Concept qualifies as a semicustom builder, so you can spec-out a boat exactly the way you want. Then you can take advantage of the other goal of the Concept 44: carrying you far afield to find fish.
