Carolina Skiff 25 Elite SS
The 25 Elite SS functions as a bay or offshore boat for fishing and as a deck boat for family cruising.
Nov 6, 2009

Designed as a three-in-one crossover vessel, the 25 Elite SS functions as a bay or offshore boat for fishing and as a deck boat for family cruising. Drawing just nine inches, the skiff floats in shallow water, but at 25 feet in length and capable of carrying twin outboards, it can also fish deep.

At the same time, the Elite's bow features plush cushioning with an optional deck table. At the stern, Carolina Skiff designed a transom-wide seating platform — portside 22-gallon livewell and starboard-side battery storage areas joined by a 120-quart cooler — that comes with removable cushions and backrests.

Standard fishing features for this center console include 16-rod under-gunwale storage, four vertical rod holders across the transom and a leaning post with a 70-quart cooler. Add options based on how you'd most likely use the boat. Fishing-related choices include a T-top or hardtop; leaning post  with tackle box and rod holders, or a molded fiberglass leaning post with a 32-gallon livewell. For family  cruising, add a bow deck table, Bimini top and freshwater tank.

Storage includes space beneath the console (though the boat comes with a portable head stowed inside the step-down console), three hatches in the bow, plus an in-deck hold for the cushions and optional table.

At the helm, Carolina Skiff offers hydraulic steering and a tilt wheel, plus ample space for electronics and engine-specific digital gauges.

In Suzuki performance tests, published by Carolina Skiff, the 25 Elite SS with twin F90s ran 41.5 mph on the top end at 6,100 rpm. However, the vessel can operate with a maximum 300 horsepower should you require higher performance numbers.
