Andros builds without any wood. Every hull receives full closed-cell foam for positive flotation. The Tarpon 26 sports a tunnel, which combined with the standard jack plate and Lenco trim tabs in recessed pockets, allows you to run with an 8-inch draft. The 5-inch-thick composite transom boasts an integrated stringer system. Andros uses biaxial fiberglass, vinylester skin coat for osmosis protection, Divinycell-cored decks, straight-overboard scuppers and gelcoating with a seven-year guarantee — all to assure you of hassle-free ownership. If you want to know how much attention to detail a builder pays, look at how it does the wiring. Andros labels and bundles every wire, and each connection has waterproof heat-shrink protection.
 
Once aboard, you'll find a 40-gallon livewell, four in-gunwale rod holders, a tournament-style helm console, a leaning post with rocket launchers, additional lockable rod storage, two insulated fish boxes in addition to other dry storage, an in-deck cast net storage bin, pop-up cleats and an anchor locker with a molded anchor holder and room for 600 feet of rode. Yes, these boats are built by and for serious fishermen. And by the way, ask them to show you the most innovative upper station/tower arrangements in the world. They invented them!
