If you opt for a Yellowfin, it will likely be one of the fastest boats in your marina or at your ramp. Now, add to that the intuitive layout of the lazarette on this and all Yellowfins. Anglers can access everything very easily, making any necessary troubleshooting a breeze. And on such a boat, that’s where you’ll find the all-important livewell pumps, thru-hulls and strainers.

Unlike so many performance-oriented boats that have no ladder, Yellowfin’s contribution to offshore safety includes a slick Garelick tube ladder that completely hides in the transom but is easily deployed by someone in the water.

Yellowfin shares common traits with some of the most successful production builders: factory-direct sales, low volume and high quality. To that end, you’ll find no shortcuts in the construction of a Yellowfin. The boats are designed and built to run at high speeds – a characteristic that puts incredible stresses on the hull and passengers. History has shown that these boats stand up to the stresses. But at the same time, boats such as this have another requirement: They need to perform well – and quietly – while fishing. Yellowfin qualifies as virtually silent when drifting or staked out.

Also in accordance with not cutting corners, Yellowfin uses only Gemlux pop-up cleats, bow lights and rod holders – 10 vertical and six under-gunwale – and installs O-ring gutter systems so no seawater infiltrates the boxes. LED under-gunwale courtesy lighting assures more secure fishing after dark, and twin 1,600 gph livewell pumps keep your livewells and release wells at peak performance. And that’s just scratching the surface. Add the single-axle trailer, optional hydraulic jack plate and Power-Pole, and you’ll be hard-pressed to beat this boat for fishing.
