Luhrs provides a transom-mounted 50-gallon livewell. Other close-at-hand fishing features include fresh- and raw-water washdowns, a transom door, high-capacity scuppers and a molded rigging-and-tackle prep station. I’m glad to see that Luhrs mounts emergency boarding steps on the transom, so you can climb back aboard should you find yourself suddenly in the water.
Against comparably sized production boats, Luhrs offers some of the most elegant interiors on the market. Belowdecks, the forward stateroom houses a queen-sized island berth on centerline. You’ll appreciate the indirect lighting throughout as well as hidden air-conditioning vents, Corian counters, hardwood flooring in the galley, loads of storage and all the requisite galley appliances built-in. Luhrs’ selections of rich fabrics and the quality of its joinerwork also are top-notch.
