VIDEO: Pathfinder 2200 TE -- Assembly
by Chris Woodward

Last week's blog and video showed how Pathfinder begins the building process for a Pathfinder 2200 TE bay boat. I ordered the boat in May, and it started on the line June 3. Initially, I shared some of the decisions made prior to construction -- decisions that are important for every new boat buyer.

In the video below, Pathfinder's Charlie Johnson shot scenes from the assembly portion of the boat-building process, including the installation of pumps and wiring, the mating of hull and deck, addition of the console and leaning post, and finally the hanging of the outboard engine.

The boat is on the company lot now awaiting transportation to south coastal Georgia, where I live. It will be trucked to Hickory Bluff Marine, my local Pathfinder dealership. There, workers will install batteries and electronics, including a Raymarine a9 multifunction display and a 10-foot Talon shallow-water anchor. When the boat is delivered later this week, I expect to be shooting video of the finishing touches. So stay tuned!
