Hard-charging tuna and billfish will have nightmares when pulling against an Okuma Titus Silver Two Speed reel. The TS-50-II ($330) holds 500 yards of 50-pound mono and weighs 50 ounces. Weighing just 2 ounces more, the TS-50W-II features a wide spool to accommodate 700 yards of 50-pound line. Both models feature cast-aluminum, one-piece frames and side plates, all protected by a noncorrosive base-coat system finished with a baked-on, silver surface coat. The newly designed drag is locked onto the right side of the spool and protected by a waterproof seal, so long-range anglers know that this reel will work even after spending time overboard on a backup rig.
