3 20 10 Offshore Report

Black Sea Bass

The first day of spring turned out to be perfect day on the water. Sunny with Winds very light 1-2 foot seas and glassy conditions. Water temp started out 54 and had climbed to 58 by the end of the day. We had a great Charter and worked the 35 mile range for Black Sea Bass. Our crew was very pleased bringing home a cooler full of this delightfully tasty fish. Some nice knotheads and jumbo bass mixed in with biggest being 4.5 lbs. Biggest fish of the day came up with an octapus hanging on to him for an added bonus. Fishing should only get better as conditions continue to warm.
